What is Brain U?

It is a professional workshop that:

    • updates teachers on the latest in neuroscience research.
    • provides curriculum materials for using neuroscience topics in support of the Minnesota Intermediate and Middle level standards.
    • models the inquiry approach to expose teacers to the latest neuroscience findings and design.

Participants will be able to:

  • share curriculum integration strategies, investigate local resources, and receive needed educational materials for their students.
  • partake in the "Explain Your Brain" assembly and exhibit stations presented by the Brain U staff.
  • use the Brain Trunk resource kits in their classrooms during the following school year.
  • meet and network with fellow educators.
